Your Next Challenge:
Developing feature designs independently.
Participating in code development by actively writing code and conducting unit testing.
Leading agile development best practices including TDD, unit testing, automation and mentoring others in code quality best practices through the use of design principles and patterns.
Following agile/scrum development methodology.
Being a thoughtful leader in thinking about agile and lean development practices including a highly collaborative participant on Scrum teams.
Creating a suite of WCF services to support SOA-based web applications.
Creating C# components used by multiple web sites and web services.
Creating ASP.Net MVC solutions for the premier imaging company- Getty Images.
Creating SQL databases to support above services and sites.
Participating in daily scrums to discuss accomplishments and next plans.
Serving as a resource for new hires on diverse project and functional teams.
What You`ll Need:
BS Degree in Computer Science or hard science required.
An understanding of Service Oriented Architectures and Object Oriented Programming and design is required.
Proven ability to understand code qualities and design principles.
Experience developing Web Services is required. Experience with WCF services is strongly desired.
Experience with Agile software development practices preferred.
Experience with ASP.NET MVC using C# is required.
Knowledge and experience with front end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML/XSL, JQuery, and Ajax is strongly desired.
Knowledge and experience with SQL databases is desired.
Work from verbal and written instructions of varying levels of detail.
Ability to take direction from a dev lead.
Exhibit a high level of individual initiative.
Work well in a highly collaborative team environment where pairing with developers, testers, and UI designers is common practice.
